We will be waiting for you in the courtyard of the old Filiatra High School on Saturday, July 26th, at 9:30 p.m.
You will attend a special music concert with the female electric string quartet (2 violins, one viola and one cello), Fortissimo. Maria Eklektou and Maria Mitrizaki – violin, Kelly Vasiliadou - viola and Sylvia Soupila, cello.
The programme includes well-known, beloved classical pieces adapted with electronic sounds, soundtracks from films, and well-known tango, dance and rock pieces, among other things.
Vivaldi, Electric Storm, James Bond theme, Derniere Danse, Amado Mio, Michael Jackson Smooth Criminal, Viva and Zorbas in front of the illuminated building of the old Lyceum.
FORTISSIMO supported “Deep Purple” and “Scorpions” in one of their epic concerts in Athens.
The first Greek all-female electric string quartet has gained worldwide popularity. They have toured in Great Britain, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Cyprus, Turkey, Morocco, Malta, Brazil, India, and many other countries. Their amazing ability to combine classical, pop, rock, dance and Middle Eastern music with electric sounds and their charismatic stage presence have created a devoted fan base from different age groups, musical backgrounds and nationalities for the band.
They have also collaborated with the famous American singer-songwriter Kip Winger, Grammy-nominated cellist Tina Guo, and many other international artists.
The band has appeared on many top TV shows, and its music has been broadcast on many radio and television stations, such as ERTWEB TV, C Music TV, BBC Radio, Lake District FM, Cando FM USA, etc.
The evening is expected to be magical! Admission is free.
