The traditional event, "The Lykokantzaroi," will be presented by the Dimiovitissa Youth Group in Perivolakia on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, at 18:00.
This folk event, inspired by the traditions of the Elaiochori region and folklorist Nikolaos Politis, has been successfully held in Perivolakia in recent years. It attracts a large crowd of people who watch the event with particular interest.
At the same time, visitors will have no shortage of treats, including tsipouro, wine, and hot bean soup made on-site in a huge pan.
The event will be held within the framework of the Municipality of Kalamata Carnival events.
