Excursionists, hikers and friends of the Kalamata Hikers and Mountaineers Association "Evklis" will cut the Saint Basil's Pie of the excursion and hiking section on January 26, 2025, at the Holy Monastery of Panagia Theodoros Kolokotronis, which belongs to the Holy Metropolis of Gortynia and Megalopolis.
We will have the pleasure of having with us the dynamic group "Volunteers of Ariochori of Messenia", where the date coincides with their first birthday, as they close 1 year of operation of their group.
The Sunday daily programme includes:
__ Visit the Holy Monastery of Panagia Kolokotroni for the blessings and the cutting of Agiovasilopitas 2025.
__ Visit the strangest church, perhaps in the world, in Agia Fotini in the plain of Mantineia.
__ Visit the Kapsia Cave in Mantineia.
__ Finally, there will be free time to visit picturesque Levidi for food, coffee, or dessert.

As every year, the ladies - association members offer the Santa pies.
The management of "Efklis" and Ms Tina Petroulakis from the "Volunteers of Ariochori" will make sure to offer the corresponding gifts.
Food or coffee: In the picturesque Levidi.
Movement: With a comfortable air-conditioned coach.
Cost: 25 euros and children 20 euros.
If someone fails to come and has paid for their ticket, 50% of the ticket value will be refunded.
Entrance to the Kapsia Cave (group ticket discount) is 5 euros.
Upon presentation of the corresponding card, free entry is available for children under 6 years old, the unemployed, and the disabled.
Programme:
For those departing from Kalamata, the meeting will be at 8:00 a.m. behind the offices of Efklis.
For those departing from Ariochori, the meeting time will be at 08:15 am. from the Drakopoulos stop, opposite the Karabelas Brothers bakery.
It is possible to park vehicles in the bakery's frontcourt.
Return time is approximately 18:00.
