Opening ceremony of the 12th Kalamata Carnival

The Municipality of Kalamata will get into the carnival rhythm on Friday, February 14th, 2025, with the opening ceremony of the 12th Kalamatian Carnival, which is scheduled for 20:30 at the Central Square - Vas. Georgiou, opposite the Cultural Centre.
The city's Carnival decorations have already begun, allowing residents and visitors to experience the Carnival atmosphere. The events culminate with the night parade on March 1st and the grand Carnival parade and closing ceremony on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025.
Throughout this period, various activities will take place, including carnival and theatrical events, games with the participation of young and old, concerts and traditional festivities, as required by Carnival.
