Nature School continues its activities!
Spread the word
The Nature School afternoon educational part continues its activities, where the children, through a network of activities implemented in the natural environment, such as
- farming and gardening
- creative movement and theatrical play in the natural environment
- clay toys and constructions with natural materials (e.g. wood)
- seed and plant identification
- cooking in nature
- creative reuse and visual arts
create their own plans while simultaneously coming into contact with many knowledge objects and emerging values for the transition to a more sustainable society. With the primary educational tool, the game, especially the game, through curiosity (curiosity approach) and with all the senses, the child, in his own time, experiments, discovers and creates without a predetermined action framework (messy play)! The operating framework is democratic, holistic education in natural ecosystems (see Summerhill/Waldorf Steiner's pedagogical approach), as is the Farm.
In addition, the Nature School organises trips to nearby natural ecosystems so that the children can get in touch with the area's biodiversity area. For 2024, the Farm's first excursion will take place at the end of February!
At the same time, from the beginning of March onwards, the morning part of the School in Nature will also reopen, which concerns the permanent educational programmes entitled The Culture of Cultivation and is addressed to schools and institutions, formal and non-formal education, but also to parents' associations and guardians, while Open Sundays are back at the Farm for the whole family and more!
