WORLD WATER DAY-Kalamata Water Routes
Spread the word
The "Let's Go for a Walk" group, in collaboration with the "Education Centre for the Environment and Sustainability" (KEPEA) of Kalamata, on the occasion of World Water Day (March 22nd), is organising a walk on the same day to discover water routes in the city ( streams, wells, water pipes and so on), understand their relationship and interaction.
The water routes marked and, in many cases, determined the development course of the city of Kalamata.
With Giorgos Argiroiliopoulos (from KEPEA Kalamata) and Pavlos Graikis (from the Messenia Chamber), we will learn much about the water hidden under our feet when we walk through the city!
