Companions IN NATURE-Valtetsiniko

In mountainous Arcadia, well hidden in the thick vegetation of Mount Mainalo and at an altitude of 1150m., is the beautiful Valtesiniko. Built amphitheatrically on the mountain's slopes so that the view from its highest points takes your breath away, the village lets the eye meet the opposite ridges in a straight line above endless fir forests.
So, on Sunday, December 15th, we will hike in Valtesiniko on a circular route overgrown with fir and walnut trees. The area is entire of red-tiled roofs, imposing churches, running water and crystal-clear air that smells of musk.
After the hike, we will have lunch at a local tavern.

EQUIPMENT: Glasses, hat, sports shoes or hiking boots. A backpack with water and light food. A windbreaker or jacket, a second change of clothes and a second pair of sports shoes. In the winter months, always have a waterproof jacket with you and, of course, your pharmacy kit.
