Companions in NATURE-Myloi Canyon

SEPTEMBER 15th. It is a not-so-random day for the Companions in Nature, celebrating six years of presence in Kalamata.
So they will walk again in this beautiful canyon that has it all!!! It starts from Georgitsi, a village in the prefecture of Laconia at an altitude of 970 m, which stretches on the north-eastern side of Mount Taygetos, the well-known "balcony of Taygetos" as they call it, and with good reason. It reaches green Kastori, which took its name from the mythical hero Kastor, and the date it was built is unknown. It is a canyon of incredible beauty and, simultaneously, passable for everyone. After the hike, the group will have lunch in Giorgitsi.

EQUIPMENT: Glasses, hat, sports shoes or hiking boots. Backpack with water and light food. Windbreaker or jacket, a second change of clothes and second sports shoes. In winter, always have a waterproof jacket and pharmacy kit with you.
