Companions in NATURE-Mount Lykoureio

On Sunday, March 10th, the Companions in NATURE group will hike to Mount Lykoureio and climb to the top of Saint Giorgi, as it is now known. The climb will offer a unique view between Artemisia and Lada, where the King and legislator of Ancient Sparta, Lykourgos, was found. The route will be circular, easy for everyone, and very beautiful.

At the end of the hike, the group will have lunch at a local tavern.

EQUIPMENT Glasses, hat, sports shoes or hiking boots. Backpack with water and light food. Windbreaker or jacket, a second change of clothes and a second pair of sports shoes. In the winter months, always have a raincoat with you. And, of course, your personal pharmacy kit.
