House by PHAOS-Event for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Women's Rights Association, a member of OGE, invites you to participate in an essential event of awareness and action entitled: "We fight against all forms of violence against women: at work, in education, in the family, against the violence of imperialist wars and refugees".

The Event will occur on Saturday, November 30th, 2024, at 19:00, at the House by Phaos Business Centre, at 18 Sfaktirias Street, in Kalamata.

The objective of the Event

Violence against women is a global scourge that affects millions of women every day, regardless of social, economic or cultural background. The purpose of the Event is to highlight the multidimensional forms of violence that affect women, both in the private and public spheres, and to call for action to eliminate them. Through discussion, exchange of experiences and collective action, we will examine aspects such as:

Gender-based violence in the workplace and education.
Domestic violence and ways to deal with it.
The tragic consequences of war conflicts and refugees on women.
