Maria Callas took him and danced him in her arms when he was four. In his twenties, and after he had already "gone", he began to discover her and become ecstatic. He never went on vacation; every drachma and euro he earned went to her recordings, books, photos, posters, and programmes; after all, there was no money left. Along with his own life, with the double jobs he did to make ends meet, with misfortunes, love disappointments, jealous friends, the accident that cost him ten operations and a disability, the collection grew as well. Haunted by the two women in his life, his prematurely lost mother and Diva, his constant reference and glory, he grew and completed himself along with his collection.
