"PERFECT STRANGERS", by P. Genovese, directed by Giorgos Pyrpasopoulos & Petros Lagoutis and produced by Th. Marosoulis Theatrical Enterprises, the play that thrilled the audience and critics and which was applauded in the packed ATHINA Theatre for two seasons, starts its trip to Greece and Cyprus this summer. With stops in major urban centres of the country and beyond, the play, which has so far been performed in front of more than 80,000 spectators, is preparing for its summer tour to entertain and excite those who love good theatre.
Well-known and beloved actors star: Petro Lagoutis, Giorgos Chraniotis, Christos Sapountzis, Costas Kappa, Martha Lampiri-Fedoruf, Meni Konstantinidou, Sofia Manolakou, and Aliki Kakolyris in the role of the little daughter. Eleonora Meletis adapted the excellent text with inspiration and courtesy. PERFECT STRANGERS aspire to entertain theatre-loving audiences on their summer tour as well.
Seven friends meet for lunch at the home of one of the couples. They decide to play a game. They all leave their phones in the middle of the table and share the content of every text, email or phone call they receive. Secrets surface that upset the balance in relationships. As Gabriel García Márquez said, "Each of us has three lives, one public, one personal and one secret." And as if three lives weren't enough, there's also a Full Moon...
The play "PERFECT STRANGERS," with its hilarious twists and unexpected developments, has been enormously successful abroad and has also become a very successful motion picture in 18 countries.
