The Catering Association of Messenia (SEM), highlighting the power of cooperation, announces the organisation of the MESSINIA FORUM for the second year in a row. The work of the two-day conference will take place this year at the Kalamata Dance Megaron on April 13th & 14th, 2024.
The main objective of SEM is the development of the catering sector, with respect for people and the environment, through the strengthening of the sector's extroversion as well as the related businesses through the encouragement and strengthening of local entrepreneurship through the development of collaborations and exchange of good practices as well as the introduction of new technologies and innovations.
The vital impact of the 1st MESSINIA FORUM is a springboard for the effort of the Messinia Catering Association. According to last year's figures, more than 4,000 visitors from the fields of catering, tourism, agri-food and more comprehensive local entrepreneurship took part, with the participation of more than 40 renowned speakers and 120 local businesses in the primary sector who presented their products. So again, this year, the purpose of FORUM is to create and develop collaboration networks, promote the exchange of ideas and inspire innovative solutions and products. The organisers' vision is for the institution to be a stable point of reference for Messenia while contributing to creating conditions and dynamics for sustainable economic and tourism development.
