For children, Christmas is something like a fairy tale. They love the lights, the smells, the songs, the laughter, the magic, all that festive atmosphere. What would the Christmas season be without this magic?
The Kalamata Dance Challenge Cultural Association, in collaboration with PolisArt, will offer children...an original holiday proposal! It is an entertaining and, at the same time, educational activity for the whole family! With shows from morning to night. Do not miss it! It is an unforgettable experience that helps our little friends get to know Space in the most playful way!
Each screening lasts 25-40 minutes; up to 40 children can enter each show at the Planetarium.

"The Mole" Duration: 35'
Intended age: Pre-K – Kindergarten – First Grade.
Plato, our little mole who lives in the Earth's bowels, decides to ask his parents, his teacher Socrates, and his three dear friends, the worms A, B and C, to let him come to the surface for the first time and face what is out there. So, in this little journey, he will see the sun, the moon, and the constellations and learn a lot of information from his teacher about our Earth, the planets and Space—an animation for our young students with outstanding educational information and unique songs that will excite them.

"The Dawn of the Space Age" Duration: 41′
Intended age: from First Grade and up.
From the launch of Sputnik 1, the first man-made satellite, which at dawn on October 4th, 1957, emitted a robotic repeating pattern every 0.3" to the "cinematically" sensational moon landings and future flights to the moon by private spacecraft, we will follow step by step, the global adventure summed up in the phrase "one small step for man, one giant leap for Mankind" of human activity beyond Earth. Who were the early pioneers of this new interplanetary experience, enduring 13G accelerations? Through interviews, documents, testimonies, and research, we will explore the passion, hard training and incredible heroism of the conquerors of Space, from the dawn of the Space Age until today through the first announcement of Apollo 11: "Huston, Tranquility Base here, the Eagle has landed".

"Two small pieces of glass - The mirroring of space" Duration: 23'
Intended age: from 8 years old/ Third Class of Primary School and above.
Through the eyes of two teenagers invited to a Shooting Star Watching Party, we learn how the telescope has helped us determine our place in the Universe, "expanding" our knowledge of the cosmic macrocosm. As the two children come into contact with a new astronomer, the story of the first telescope since the time of Galileo, the "heretical" father of the Heliocentric Theory, who improved it using two small pieces of "glass" (and discovered the four satellites of D (a) until NASA constructs the Hubble Space Telescope, launched by the Space Shuttle Discovery in April 1990, unfolds before them. The revelation of how the telescopes work is part of the Program of the world's largest observatories in a spectacular four-dimensional film. Music by the London Symphony Orchestra.

"From Earth to the Universe" *NEW MOVIE Duration: 35'
Intended age: from 9 years old/Fourth Class of Primary School to high school.
The show is a unique journey into the Universe. After a brief reference to the Astronomy of the Ancients, he takes us on a journey through our Solar System, the stars, our Milky Way, and the Universe as described by modern science. The director mainly uses actual images from the world's largest telescopes. This journey provides the viewer with a complete picture of the astronomical Universe in a simple, impressive, narrative way. It is no coincidence that it has participated in over twenty dome film festivals, is shown in more than 700 planetariums worldwide and has been translated into 27 languages.
