A bag as a Pillow. A tragic case
Spread the word
A bag used as a pillow. A Tragic Case opens to the public and welcomes young and not-so-young audiences: parents, teens, ex-teens, middle-aged, seniors, and those who want to go back in time!
How much can happen in 24 hours when you're 16?
What do you remember, and what would you like to forget forever from those years?
Who do you see when you look at yourself in the mirror?
What happens when you recognise the face of an ancient tragedy hero with his most hidden thoughts in the mirror?
Adolescence is a period full of personal searches, impulsive actions, contradictions, and questions.
It's a show about adolescence.
I also have this misfortune; I am wise... I am a burden.
A few words about the show
From October 2017, starting from the exploration of adolescence that we once lived or are currently living, a series of experiential, theatre-paedagogical workshops took place that formed the performance "A Bag used as a Pillow. A tragic case." It is a show with an intergenerational character that invites teenagers and adults who were once teenagers to a dialogue.
With the stimulus of the dilemmas and impasses of the heroes of the ancient tragedy, the identity of adolescence is explored, moving the temporal axis from yesterday to today, to now. After the performance, there will be a theatre-paedagogical workshop during which we will come into contact with a part of the individual lived experience in the most transitional period of our lives.
