The "Association of the all over Armenioi people " was founded in 1959, with its headquarters in Athens. The goal of the association is to maintain undiminished interest and love for the village of Armenioi (which is 4 kilometres from Kyparissia) by organising a series of cultural events, such as excursions, gatherings and others, culminating in the big annual meeting of the Armenioi people that gather from everywhere in the world.
In particular, the "Feast of Okra" takes place in the village on the first fortnight of August. The celebration has been taking place for the last 25 years, in co-organisation with the Peloponnese Region, where free okra, baked in the oven, is offered.
