SOS Children's Villages-Deinstitutionalisation event and bazaar

SOS Children's Villages and the Captain Vassilis and Carmen Konstantakopoulos Foundation are organising, on Monday, December 18th, 2023, an event for deinstitutionalisation, entitled "Look at me, I'm here", at the Spiritual Centre of Kalamata, from 18:00 to 20:00: 00.

The event is the culmination of the cooperation of the Professional and Family Support Centre and the Child and Family Support Centre of the SOS Children's Villages with nine kindergartens, seven primary schools, the Kalamata and Filiatra Preschools and the Kalamata Preschool, for the action "Look at me, I am here", lasting a month and a half and on the subject of the right of the child in the family.

In the space, there will be an exhibition of the children's creations, resulting from the application of child-centred non-directive methods in collaboration with their teachers. At the same time, the event will be accompanied by the music department from the "Artistic Shelter", curated by Petros Katsoulis. In addition, on 15th, 16th, 17th & 18th December 2023, from 9:00 - 14:00 and 17:00 - 21:00, the Support Team and the Centres of the SOS Children's Villages in Kalamata invite you to the four-day bazaar of love, which will take place at the Spiritual Centre of Kalamata.

Visitors will be able to do their Christmas shopping, supporting the children of the Centres with each purchase, and choose from a wide variety of decorations, sweets and gifts for their loved ones, ornaments and charms for the new year.
