Olympus is a landmark for mountain and nature lovers and, of course, for those who love challenges!
The highest mountain of Greece and residence of the Twelve Gods of Antiquity invites us to a divine mountaineering experience!!
The Efklis climbing group of the Kalamata Hikers and Climbers' Association is going to Olympus, the mountain of the gods, in August (August 24-25-26, 2024) to learn about the two peaks from the Plateau of the Muses: the Prophet Ilias (2,803 m.) and Megali Toumba (2,801 m.).
The reliable Kalamata company ClimbUp (https://www.facebook.com/ClimbUpOutdoorActivities) will provide the group's road transport, and George Malamas (https://www.facebook.com/Georgemalamas.13), a certified mountain guide of H.M.G.A and E.O.O.A., will accompany them on this unique three-day event.
Maximum number of participants: 16 people.
Total cost of 3 days:
__ For members of our club, 155 euros.
__ For non-members, 165 euros.
Food, carrying things by mules to the shelter and your personal expenses are not included.
Prerequisites:
A) All participants (members or non-members) will sign that they are healthy and take individual responsibility for participating in the 3-day expedition to Olympus.
B) Seat reservations will only be made with an advance payment of €100 per person until June 15th, 2024.
The remaining amount will be paid on the Saturday of departure.
Priority will be reserved for those who secure their reservation in time.
