EFKLIS:Rafting along the Lousios River

On Sunday, August 6th, the Kalamata Hikers-Mountaineers Association "Efklis", as a certified organisation of alternative activities by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, will carry out Rafting (river descent with a specially designed boat) on the Lousios River, Rappel on the Karytaina bridge and a tour of the Castle and the traditional alleys of Karytaina Arcadia.

This is an impressive Rafting route, one of the most beautiful in Greece, entirely inside a narrow canyon with rich water and vegetation where the water literally passes under the trees in many places.

ThRafting on the Lousios River and Rappel at the Karytaina Bridge costs0 euro.

Appointment: Start at 08:00 behind the offices of the Association, 56, Aristomenous Street (beginning of O.S.E. Park) in front of the entrance of the 24th Primary School. Return to Kalamata, approximately at 17:00-18:00.
