Messenia Philologists Association-Together at school: Roma and Education

The Messenian Philologists Association organises a series of educational meetings every Saturday in November.
The fourth meeting, "Together at School: Roma and Education", will take place:
- When: Saturday, November 25th, 2023, from 11.00 to 13.00.
- Where: 7th Experimental High School of Kalamata.
- Who: Elisavet Stathopoulou, French teacher and philologist.

Presentation title: "Roma Culture and Education: Thoughts and advice for the Management of Part II ZEP (Educational Priority Zone, Reception Class)".
- Who: Efstathia Georgopoulou, philologist and PhD candidate of the University of Peloponnese.
- Presentation title: "Presentation of teaching scenarios. An effort to create activities to stimulate the interest of Roma students."

Elisavet Stathopoulou is a French teacher and philologist with postgraduate studies in "Teaching French". She is the Director of Kalamata Paralia-Beach High School. For eight years, she was the Director of the 1st High School of Messina, where she operated the first Reception Department II ZEP for Roma students in High Schools of the Peloponnese.
