The Central Public Library of Kalamata, continuing the reading programme Along with a book, the library goes to school welcomes George Panagiotakis in the Amphitheatre of the Kalamata welcomes the multi-awarded author Giorgos Panagiotakis on Tuesday, February 6th, at 6:30 p.m., in the Kalamata Music School "Maria Kallas" Amphitheatre in a dedicated event entitled "Giorgos Panagiotakis: From Microcosm to Tigre".
Philologists Maria Kapsalis (Music School of Kalamata "Maria Kallas") and Alki Dimizas (7th Experimental High School of Kalamata) will talk with the author. The discussion will focus on the milestone works of G. Panagiotakis' writing career: "Microcosmos", "Club of Strange Creatures" and "Tigre. With bare hands." The author will chat with the audience and sign copies of his books.
The Kalamata Music School teachers Maria Pahnistis (flute) and Maria Spantidakis (guitar) will accompany the event musically. The event is aimed at students, parents and teachers, and admission is free to the public.
The presentation will take place with the help of Captain Vassilis and Carmen Konstantakopoulos's Foundation and in collaboration with Patakis Publications and the Bookmark bookstore.
