30th Kalamata Dance Festival-PETER JASKO/THE DANCE OF CHANGE
Spread the word
All that was left in me was a mountain of feelings, shifting in an impermanent and uncontrollable way. I started to pulse and rock with the movement, breathing in and out, in the most “sensitive way I could”…
I have a desire to explore the unusual pathways that our inner movements have to offer. I’m interested in the intended trajectory of each body part involved, creating a web of possibilities.
I’m interested in seeing how the most minute movement can create the most considerable ripple effect, reaching out to many hidden corners. How can microcosmic movements evolve into expansive lines of energy?
From a perspective that embraces imperfections and impermanence, I want to invite both myself and the viewers into a dance of change and profound mobility. How can we foster mobility not only among body parts but also among ideas, allowing friction and dissonance to find their place within the performance?
Admission to all Kalamata Main Square performances and side events is free for all.
