The Comeback-The Comedy of Memory by the Municipal Theatre of Kalamata
Spread the word
The Municipal Regional Theatre of Kalamata presents Vassilis Katsikonouris's play The Comeback, a Comedy of Memory.
A dream team of chaos: A decommissioned journalist wants to make his comeback on television but has lost the DVD-documentary whose screening would cause a political earthquake. A woman on the verge of amnesia has found it and does not remember what she has done with it. Her sister also tries to help, who, in turn, is not entirely understanding. The situation is further pressured by the nervous bravo from the channel that arrives.
All four of them, through a comic journey of recall and memory, are looking to find the precious document. In two hours, the show, in which its screening has been announced, begins.
Everything will happen now, in less than two hours, the same time as the performance directed by Philippos Sofianos lasts.
The actors are Olga Alexandropoulou, Periklis Albanis, Anastasis Kolovos and Marianna Lagourou.
Set design: Antonis Chalkias, costumes: Eleonora Karavani, lighting: Philippos Sofianos, AI creation: projection Vicky Vellopoulou

The premiere is scheduled for Friday, January 31st, 2025, at 9:00 PM, on the Main Stage of the Kalamata Dance Megaron.
The performances will occur every Saturday at 9:00 PM and every Sunday at 7:00 PM. Information and reservations by phone at 2721082616, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM-2:00 PM.
