Petrochori - Divari
Divari beach, also known as Golden Beach, is located after Gialova. It is one of the most famous beaches of Pylia with incredible natural beauty. After the beach, the Gialova lagoon wetland (with important species of flora and fauna), which is not accessible from the beach, stretches.
It is a vast beach, 4 kilometres long, within the Natura 2000 protection zone, because of the Caretta-Caretta sea turtle that lays its eggs there. The sandy beach has shallow blue-green waters - ideal for families with small children and extends to the Sykia pass and the narrow pass with Sfakteria (just under Paleokastro). In fact, at the end of the beach, if someone wishes, they can swim up to the shore of Sfaktiria.
At the point where the asphalt road ends lies the organised part of the Golden Coast with sunbeds, umbrellas, a beach bar, as well as a small wooden jetty for boats. Finally, just before the beach, there is an organised camping site.
