Romanos Beach
Romanos beach, also known as Glyfadaki, is next to the village of the same name. It is about 2 kilometres from the well-known beach of Voidokoilia and 15 kilometres from Pylos.
It is a long beach with fine sand, clear blue waters and a view of the Ionian Sea. Basically, the beach combines many small beaches, one next to the other. The first part of the beach is organised with umbrellas, beach cafes and bars, while the rest is calmer, ideal for families with children.
The sand dunes that surround the beach give it a unique colour. Finally, Romanos beach is famous for its abundance of Caretta-Caretta sea turtles that visit it yearly to lay their eggs.
