An ideal solution for agritourism and family vacations but also a favourite destination for newlyweds, the “Agrikies” Estate is located in a 12.5-acre olive grove near picturesque Marathopolis, in an amphitheatre location overlooking the sea, the island of Proti and the beach of Lagouvardos while the same family of owners has owned it for over 100 years!
The building, surrounded by olive trees, is built with the characteristic stone from the subsoil of the olive grove and is, therefore, entirely in harmony with the environment. The handmade furniture and decoration, with a solid Mediterranean element in the interior of the houses and olive trees with lavender in the outdoor area, offer a unique feeling of relaxation and bliss.
The bar and restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine flank the central pool; around it, the sunbeds and canopies with white fabrics complete a dreamy setting. Somewhere there, you will also find Marina, the owner, making handmade jewellery and chatting with guests.
Agrikies started in 2006—a small family business with respect for the rules of nature. At some point, friends also started calling it Agrikies Country Retreat because they had felt the vibrations of nature around them ever since they visited the place. And that’s entirely true... You touch the green, you see the blue, you hear the birds singing in the morning, you dream with the orange colours of the evening, and you taste the earth…
Their philosophy of love and care for nature made them set up five luxury safari tents (glamping) among the olive trees.
Living in a tent is like living in a nest, but it allows you to be surrounded by nature without giving up comfort. All of them are made with fun and passion. What motivated the owners' unquenchable desire is the will to continuously create new things and propose alternative hosting methods, always in nature.
Each safari tent accommodates 2-4 people. Each (27m2) has a private entrance, bathroom and private balcony. As for the interior, they are equipped with all the necessary amenities that will make your stay unforgettable.
Because, at the end of the day, that's what Agrikies Country Resort is all about. A small luxury resort with a big ambition: To make you feel like you're at your vacation home, but better. Marina, the owner, is always there to welcome you and arrange activities for you throughout the estate or...even beyond. Trust her. She grew up in Marathopolis!
