The "Kokkala" Carnival Cultural Association of Chora was founded in 2019. Every year, with the help of volunteers, it organises a series of carnival events, which start on “Tsikno” Fat Friday and end on Ash Monday with the well-known "Koulouma" in the village stadium.
The Municipality of Pylos-Nestor sponsors the events.
