The "Koryvantes" Folklore Association is based in Kalamata. Its goal is to save the tradition by creating a beautiful company with the common characteristics of love for life, dancing and singing.
The Association operates children's and adult' sections where the joy of learning and performing traditional Cretan and Pontian dances is celebrated. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, the experience is sure to be exhilarating. There is also a gymnastics section for those interested in physical fitness.
Every year, the Association organises dance-theatrical performances and presentations of traditional dances at various cultural events, such as the representation of the liberation of Kalamata.
