The gourmet foods include Kalamata olives, figs, chutney, spoon sweets, jams, "submarine" sweets (mastiha or rose), pasta like trachanas and hilopites, pasteli, dried and stuffed figs, vinegar, balsamic vinegar, as well as honey and bee products like honeycomb, pollen, and tahini honey.
