The 5th Kalamata Storytelling Festival "at The Olive Tree Tear" is being prepared and will soon be near you!!!
It's the beginning of the fairy tale...! Once Upon a time...
From Friday, March 29th, until Monday, April 1st, you will be filled with lies, which will also tell you the truth! Get ready, as this year, the Festival will host fourteen storytellers and two musicians in four full days at the Kalamata Dance Megaorn, who will share fairy tales with everyone!
"where is the lie? Where is the truth?"
On Friday, March 29th, at 9:00 p.m., at the Studio of the Kalamata Dance Megarin, the Festival begins with a story for adult audiences and teenagers aged from 12 entitled "Where is the lie, where is the truth?". If you want to know what happened to a girl who is a goat, or a goat who is a girl, or what else that pint-sized person will devise to fool not one, not two, but 40 dragons and many more hidden secrets, come and listen to Vera Aesopos, Alki Dimizas, Giota Iliopoulos and Mariza Daifas unravel the red thread and Georgia Batsikouras who will accompany them with her music.

"Mythical fairy tale, come back and let me tell you."
On Saturday, March 30th, at 6:00 p.m., at the Studio of the Kalamata Dance Megaron, a series of fairy tales for younger friends is coming, as storytellers Angeliki Theodorakopoulos, Giota Konstantineas, and Theodosia Pseutea will tell stories strictly and only for children from 5 to 95 years old! With Heroes big and small who spring from faraway places and have many dreams. Around the red thread, you will hear about old women, old men, children and loaves of bread with hahana and podoboli!!! So, it's good not to be late at all!!!
General admission is 3 euros.

On the same day, Saturday, March 30th, at 21:00, again at the Studio of the Kalamata Dance Megaron, Agni Stroumboulis and cellist Stavros Parginos, with his original music, will tell us folk tales with voice and cello! Fairy tales suitable for adults as well as teenagers from 15 years old!

"the king with the cruel ears"
On Sunday, March 31st, at noon, the king with the ugly ears and other fairy tale "heroes" will meet us again at the Kalamata Dance Megaron Studio. Agni Stroumboulis and cellist Stavros Parginos will now share stories suitable only for children aged 5 to 95!
General admission is 3 euros.
"Turanto, Sarsebay and the Fifty Identical Dresses"
How many faces does love have? Can you beat it with riddles? Can you tempt it with fifty identical dresses? The question will be answered by Katerina Gyftakis, Evi Dinopoulos, and Spyros Tsiros on Sunday, March 31st, at 20:00, at the Studio of the Kalamata Dance Megaron. For adult audiences and teenagers from 12 years of age.
"The Golden Key"
Finally, on Monday, April 01st, at 20:00, the golden key will unlock a chest full of fairy tales! Because where there's a lock, there's sure to be a matching key nearby. A key that unlocks secrets, and Georgia Gotsis, Christina Dimizas and Lilly Triantaris know where the key is, where the lock is and what the chest hides! A narration for adult audiences and teenagers aged 12 and up.

Maria Panagiotopoulou, with her famous creations, will accompany the storytellers and their stories.
