On Wednesday, August 30th (at 21:15), the two new films of the director from Kalamata, Giorgos Louridas, will be screened in the garden of Vista Marina Hotel.
Giorgos Louridas will present, for the first time, his latest short films entitled “The Clay and the Girl” and “Je Suis Libre” to the audience of Kalamata.
“The Clay and the Girl” has the mental treatment of loss as its central theme and, so far, has received dozens of awards. The film “Je Suis Libre” is about social isolation and the abuse of women.
Both films have the musical "signature" of Christos Danakas (also from Kalamata), who will also be present at the screening.
After the screening, there will be a discussion about social stereotypes in Greece. Deputy mayor of Kalamata and lawyer Maria Aggelis will also participate in the debate, covering the matter from its legal side.
