"Spitiko Concept" - Restaurant
"Spitiko Concept" is a Mediterranean restaurant emphasising Cypriot and Greek cuisine, in which Greek and Cypriot flavours are "married" through… homemade, delicious recipes and local ingredients.
In the restaurant area in Gialova, the wood, the stone, and the sea wood blend harmoniously with the flowers and the trees, composing the ideal landscape to enjoy your food.
There, we organise meetings for an ice-cold beer, a glass of wine, or tsipouro, which are rarely just one and definitely not in a hurry. A meeting point for friends, “Spitiko Concept” suggests appetisers and dishes with carefully selected raw materials, which smell of tradition without becoming rustic, with techniques that serve the idea of "yes, exuberant but not heavy, foods full of aromas and taste, real taste”.
The place is in front of the sea with the beach, and everything is relaxed and well made, with professional service, a good wine list, and its customers being a mix of Greek and foreign travellers as well as locals who love good food. It is interesting to try its appetisers, but the ingredient that Ioannis Kalogeropoulos loves and invests in is fish. Red Mullets, smaller mallets, squid and cuttlefish, and small and large fish. And Fish Burgers!, the sea bass fillet, the variety of fish caught in its boats, the seafood ... What you will find depends exclusively on the season, but the chefs cook both in the pan and the grill in a way we call ... flawless. The salads are rich and crunchy, and the grilled and Cypriot dishes make their own impression. Do not leave "To spitiko" without trying the Cypriot “pitas” and the handmade “seftalias”, all made from fresh local products. Don’t forget to try them... You will miss a great opportunity ...!
