"Akritas" Gymnastics (track & field) Association

The "Akritas" Gymnastics Association was founded in 2016, aiming to train and care for children's but also adults' health through specialised training programmes. The Association is a member of the "Hellenic Athletics Federation" SEGAS. It is the fastest-growing athletics club in the Peloponnese, and children with impaired vision, as well as deaf children, can participate in it, thanks to its specialised staff.
The Association participates in local, inter-club and pan-Hellenic competitions and organises social contribution activities and excursions every year. Also, every summer, the Summer Camp of the Club operates at the Elite City Resort hotel, with various leisure activities.
Training takes place at the National Stadium of Kalamata at the Messina Stadium, as well as the Akritas Throwing Sports Centre in Asprochoma, Kalamata.
Finally, the Association has a 9-seater mini-bus for the transportation of its members on special occasions.
