The Cultural and Athletic Association "ARGIS" was founded in December 1994 and is based in Kalamata. The Union aims to promote the psychosomatic improvement of its athletes-members through a healthy sporting spirit.
At "ARGIS", there are Classical Swimming, Technical Swimming, Water Polo, Volleyball and Cycling Triathlon classes for children and adults. The most significant distinction for "ARGIS" was won in 2005 by the international and Panhellenic athlete Yannis Stefanos, who was the 3rd World Youth Champion in Technical Swimming.
