"Melifonon"-Kalamata Municipal Concervatory Vocal Ensemble

The "Melifonon" Kalamata Vocal Ensemble was created in February 2013 as a Female Vocal Ensemble. It consists of about 25 choristers and covers a wide range of repertoire. "Melifonon" is hosted by the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata, with which it has a fruitful collaboration, participating in many of its events.
It has taken part in several competitions and Choir Festivals, culminating in the "4th Kalamata International Choir Competition and Festival" in September 2022, when it was declared the winner in its category, receiving a level 2 gold diploma and a special award for its conductor, Athanasia Kyriakidou.
