The "Machaon" Cultural Association is based in the picturesque village of Kampos Avia, which is 22 kilometres from Kalamata. The goal of the Association is to preserve the folk tradition and folklore of the region, with the participation of all residents.
The Association carries out various activities and events such as speeches, art exhibitions, film screenings, book presentations, voluntary blood donations, etc.
