The "Glykia (Sweet) Messenia" Diabetics Association of Messenia was founded in 1998 on Special Diabetologist Nasser Yanzdanis’ initiative and deals with the information and education of people with diabetes in the prefecture.
The Association organises a series of seminars, lectures and workshops every year.
