"Municipal Women's Counseling Centre" of Kalamata

The "Kalamata Municipality Women's Counseling Centre" began its operation in August 2013, intending to provide support, counselling and information on gender-based issues of violence against women and equality of relationships.
The Counseling Centre provides work and legal support, while it can also refer women to services, hospitals, hospitality hostels, etc. The service aims to empower women and regain their self-esteem without being afraid to "break their silence".
The Counseling Centre is staffed by a social worker, a psychologist and a sociologist, while it also operates a 24-hour telephone support line at the five-digit number 15900. The confidentiality of counselling covers counselling services.
