"Dimiovitissa" Youth Group

The "Dimiovitissa" Youth Group was founded in 2013 and is active in the villages of the Community of Elaiochorio, Municipality of Kalamata.
The purpose of the Group is to highlight the cultural heritage of our country by holding annual events, such as the Halloween event (based on a recording by the folklorist Nikolaos Politis), the commemorative events for the National Palingenesis struggle, etc.
A volunteer fire protection group has also been set up, which contributes decisively to the prevention and protection of Taygetos, the areas of Elaiochori, as well as the Dimiova Monastery.
