The "Kalamata Educational Robotics and New Technologies Association" was founded in 2019. The Association's primary goal is the development and continuous qualitative upgrading of innovative courses that focus on Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology, Engineering Science and Mathematics.
The Association also aims to spread and support the use of Information and Communication Technologies and promote Information Technology, Engineering and Robotics to the educational community and the wider society.
On an annual basis, the Association provides free courses and seminars in robotics and programming to students of Primary and Secondary Education, while the groups of students participate in Robotics and Informatics competitions.
