Taygetos Mountain Bike Marathon

The cycling marathon, "Taygetos Mountain Bike Marathon" (with a maximum altitude of 1597 metres), takes place in Kardamyli, starting and finishing on the beach of Kardamyli. It is an alternating route through areas of exceptional natural beauty, such as the forest of Vyros and the traditional villages of Kastania, Saidona and Proastio. The marathon race consists of the following two courses:
- "Mountain Bike Marathon": It covers a distance of 71 kilometres and has categories for men and women.
- "Mountain Bike Experience": It covers a distance of 40 kilometres and has the categories of men (18-39), veteran men (40+) and women.
